Hi there!
My name is Irene and I am the creator behind Tipsy Hypsie.
I was born in a small village by the sea in Murcia, Spain but eight years ago I decided to move abroad and since then I have been living in Ireland.
My love for art and nature has always been present since I was a child, I used to enjoy drawing and painting but when I grew I started developing interest in jewellery making, I watched tutorials for many years but I never thought I would be able to make it myself. It was not until Covid hit that I decided to finally give it a try and to my surprise found what I really am passionate about and what I am working towards to achieve as my career.
My inspiration comes from many places but mostly from nature. I found that by using resin as a medium I could preserve anything from it for a lifetime and make it wearable. I am also really inspired by the moon, ocean, crystals, forests and Irish landscapes and I try to reflect it as much as possible in my pieces.
Currently I am studying Metal Jewellery hoping to keep growing and develope new skills. I will soon be incorporating new handmade metal pieces in my shop made from brass to silver with added crystals and gemstones.
